Improve your opportunities with the Mailing Feature

Mailing and Direct Mail

Email marketing is one of the most used business communication channels today. That is what SlabWare’s Mailing tool is for. Most people consider it less invasive and more assertive than other methods of contacting customers such as calls or physical mail.

It’s good to remember that your customer needs to be reminded about your business and that your business is there when they need it — emails are a great way to do this!

With SlabWare you can personalize emails for your entire customer database or targeted groups of customers, through the Mailing feature.

In this post, we are going to navigate through this feature and show you how to use it!

Finding the Mailing page on the side menu

If you are using a Distributor version, look for the option Mailing on the side menu, expand it, and click New.

If your version is Fabricator, expand the option Clients, then mouse over Mailing and click New Mailing.

1. Beginning Campaign

This is the first page: here you will choose whether you want to send it via Mailing or Direct Mail (mark the checkboxes over each option). The Mailing option allows you to […..]. On the other hand, the Direct Mail option enables you to […..].

You also have a third option which is Exclusive E-mail. If you check that option, the system will allow you to edit the materials’ names and prices for this e-mail only – without interfering with your names and prices on other parts of your system.

2. Bundles

In the Bundles tab, you can choose which bundles will be sent to your customers. That means: which bundles you want to be included in your marketing campaign. It is interesting to observe which bundles have characteristics that fit the customers who will receive the e-mail: are they similar to other items they bought previously? Do they look like the others in their shopping history? Have they looked for similar bundles recently?

Ask those questions before choosing the bundles to give your customers a fully personalized experience.

3. Contacts

As a continuation of the previous step, now you will select all the customers which will receive your e-mail.

4. Exclusive

If you marked the Exclusive E-mail on the 1st tab, tab number 4 will appear for you: here you can edit your bundle’s information for this e-mail. Remember: any alteration made to your materials on prices or other details won’t affect your system’s materials on any other part of SlabWare: it works only as a marketing campaign for your customers.

5, Message

In tab number 5 you will type the Subject and Message for your e-mail. Another interesting option that is worth noting is the field Send Date: if you leave it blank, it will be sent right away. If you fill it with a date, the system will automatically send your e-mail on the selected date.

On the right, you have also options to manipulate how the bundles will be sent: with their prices hidden, with primary or secondary photos (or both!), with or without description, etc.

Many possibilities to do your marketing as freely as you wish!

6. Success

The last tab indicates your campaign has been created and will be sent as soon as it is ready!
