Use easy descriptions on the respective field, and preferably fill in all the slab information such as measures, weight, etc. Your website is a powerful tool, so use your resources!

2. Make good offers and give benefits for the orders done online using the cart

Give benefits to your customers to stimulate them to purchase online. If your customer is used to shopping in a certain way, simply telling them to do it in a different way won’t work, or might even upset them. 

Instead, offer benefits to do in a certain way you want – and you won’t even need to tell them “do this”!

“10% discount on your next purchase you make online”, “5% discount on items on the cart in purchases done through our website”, and “exclusive material samples if you finish an order online through our website” are sentences you can use.

3. Follow up on their orders to make sure they didn’t have any difficulties

After you receive the order made through your website, make contact with the customer to know what they thought of the process and encourage them to repeat it that way the next time.

As it is said, “old habits die hard”, so it is important that they feel confident enough to keep the process until they get used to the process of finishing the order online.

And remember, you might be dealing with annoyed customers at times, so have in mind that you must always talk to them calmly and with plenty of patience.
