Meet Activities: a manager built for the stone industry!

SlabWare’s Activities is here to improve the way our Distributor clients manage their customers.

In this week’s post, we’ve prepared a tutorial with an overview of the new feature to simplify it even more for you.

But before we dive into the new Activities feature, let’s talk about a feature designed to keep your follow-ups always updated: the Quick Access Menus (located on the right-hand side of the screen).

CRM

With these menus, you can see the activities you can use to manage your customers, register tasks, notes, emails, calls, or meetings with just one click – no matter where you are in the system. It’s the perfect way to stay on top of customer updates and never miss a follow-up.

Now, to access the Activities, go to your list of customers and select a customer. Let’s take a closer look at the new Customer Page and its features:

customers
  1. Info: this is where you add and register information about the customer.
  2. Dashboard: an overview of all the customer’s shopping history. You can use this information to plan marketing campaigns, or even exclusive offers for this customer. We’ll go through it later in this post.
  3. Quick Access menus: register a new task, note, e-mail, call, or meeting simply by clicking on one of those buttons. You can use them to create items for every customer, independent of the page you are on.
  4. Personal tab: name, billing and shipping addresses, type of business, etc.
  5. Advanced tab: who’s responsible for the customer, their registration date, favorite thickness and qualities, and the mailing groups they belong to.
  6. Financial tab: the customer’s financial information. Sales tax they will pay, their credit limit, their pending amount you have to be received, and more.

Activities Functions:

On the tab Activities, you can use the tab History to see the full record of every task, note, e-mail, call, and meeting that has been registered to this customer in particular.

If you want to filter by type, simply use each tab (Tasks, Notes, etc) to see the particular type you’re looking for.

Contacts:

Edit and register new contacts for that customer. These are the contacts you have in the customer company: usually the people you have contact with.

Attention: To register orders for your customer, you must have a contact registered for them.

Documents:

You can upload documents and photos related to jobs you’re doing or have done with your customer. There is also an Invoices folder, where all the documents that have been attached to this customer’s orders can be easily located. If no documents have been attached to any invoice of this customer, this folder will be empty.

Login Tracker

A list with all the times your customer logged into your frontend page (customer area).

You can use this tab to check whether they are logging in or not, and plan follow-up calls, messages, or offers for them.

E-mail

A list of all e-mails that have been sent to this customer, in case you need to look for something or confirm that something has been sent or not.

Dashboard

This section contains many pieces of information about the customer’s shopping history.

Favorite materials, number of orders and pre-orders he has made with you, total sq.ft (or sq.mt), etc.

All the information in this section is pretty intuitive, and it’s up to you how to use it the best you can.

The only information that requires a bit of explanation is the section Pending Payments.

This section differs from the Pending Balance in the Financial Section, because here it shows only the pending value in the payments that have been registered, while in the Pending Balance, it shows all the value of orders that haven’t been paid yet – whether it has payments registered or not.
